How it works

Five Steps to Your First Day

You don’t need a diagnosis or a referral to reach out. We’ll help you sort out the details.

  1. Reach out. Call (877) 650-5521 or use our contact form. There’s no pressure and no commitment.
  2. Check your insurance. Share your plan details on our insurance page and we’ll look up your benefits.
  3. Talk it through. Our admissions team asks about what you’re dealing with and answers your questions.
  4. Get a recommendation. We suggest the level of care that fits, from PHP to outpatient.
  5. Start treatment. We schedule your first day and your assessment, and tell you exactly what to bring.

Be prepared

What to Bring on Your First Day

Coming prepared makes your first day easier and helps you focus on getting started. Here’s what we suggest:

  • Photo ID and your insurance information
  • Your insurance card and a way to pay any copay
  • Any prescription medications you take, in their original bottles
  • Comfortable clothing
  • A notebook and pen
  • Something to read during breaks
  • A water bottle and snacks
  • Contact information for an emergency contact
  • An open mind and a willingness to give it a real try

Questions

Common Questions

Do I need a referral?

No. You can call us directly. If a doctor or therapist referred you, that’s welcome too, and we can coordinate with them with your permission.

How quickly can I start?

It depends on your insurance and the program that fits. Our admissions team will give you a clear timeline when you call.

Can a family member call for me?

Yes. A spouse, parent or friend can call to ask questions. We’ll still need to talk with you directly before you start.

What if I'm not sure I need treatment?

Call anyway. Talking it through with our admissions team is a good way to figure out whether treatment makes sense and which level would help.
